If the Fallen pikes aren't showing up, look to the right of the starting area and go down that path, toward the big lake of electrical Vex "milk." Speaking of the electric water - normally going out into the strange Vex liquid will damage a Guardian, but if they mount a Pike they can travel out onto it without being hurt. Sometimes they will spawn directly below and to the left of the first platform where players spawn in. It's also important to note that the Pikes can spawn in multiple areas of the starting area. Some players have reported it taking a few seconds while others have had to wait a minutes for them to show up. There's no predicting how long the spawn timer is on the Pikes. Simply shoot the Fallen off the Pike and take it. At some point, three Pikes will spawn into the area of the strike located on the new planet Nessus, each one being ridden by a Fallen rider. The simple "trick" is to load into the strike and stay in the strike's starting area.
